Biographies of Vaishnava Sages and Saints

The many pastimes of the lives of the Vaishnava Saints and Sages are quite fascinating and provide much inspiration. Many miraculous activities and events are recorded in connection to such saints, and many insights are provided in how to make progress in spiritual life by following their examples. I've tried to assemble as much information as I could find through the years in order to document the biographies and achievements of these great persons. I've been able to put together descriptions of 75 of the major Vaishnava saints and sages. Just click on the name of the person for his or her biography.

Naturally, there is more information on some of the saints than others, and more information may be found elsewhere. Some of these saints are so well noted that whole books on their lives have been compiled on them.

In the following biographies, I've tried to compile as much information as possible to give a simple overview on the lives, the challenges, insights and realizations, and accomplishments of these saints and personalities. It is often very inspiring to hear how they managed to do what they did, and the spiritual realizations they attained, and how they worked to give that to others. Reading about these personalities will help inspire us in our own spiritual journey and give insights into how we can use their examples to motivate us in our spiritual journey.
